What I didn't say...I got the book without reading the synopsis and expected it to be a nice summery read. Boy was I wrong... Jake, senior in high school has a crush on Samantha but is too shy to tell her. One day at a party though, he is drunk and decides to tell her. So his two friends and him hop into the car and drive to her house. The only problem is, they never arrive there. Too much alcohol involved leads to a terrible accident which changes Jakes live forever. I enjoyed the book a lot. It drew me in completely and made me feel all the emotions the main character is going though. It made me cry, smile and giggle and reevaluate my own life. This book comes really close to John Green's "the fault in our stars" and i highly recommend it.
